Developed by GKN Defence, the Warrior entered service in 1984 and has since been continually updated. The most current version in British Army service is the Warrior TES specification, featuring bar armour to protect the hull against shaped charges such as rocket propelled grenades, as well as a host of communication and sensory upgrades.
Crusader Tank was one of the first weapons of the British Army during its primary engagements with the Germans during the WWII. While early variants fought in the campaigns in France and then Greece, Mk.III Crusader proved itself to be valuable during the desert in North Africa.
Built to replace the Royal Navy's Type 42 Destroyers, the Type 45 or Daring Class consists of six highly capable air defence destroyers. T-34 was a technologically innovative produce which addressed the short-comings of the earlier BT series of wheel/track tank. The T-34 was made during the 1936-37 period, the prototype was completed in early 1939, and in September 1940 T-34 was put into series production mounting a 76mm gun.
The produtcion of Jadgtiger started in February of 1943, wooden mock-up was presented to Hitler. Jagdtiger role was to help infantry and combat armored vehicles at long distances. Two prototypes, one with Porsche suspension (made up of 8 roadwheels) and one with Henschel suspension (made up of 9 roadwheels) were completed in February of 1944.
The studying of 90 types tank and developing work to start in 1974, in 1977 that the part was developed and the experiment work began. Called TK-X tank temporarily at that time, it means " the tank while testing ". The date of finalizing the design is postponed by 1990, so also name it 90 types tank.
Almost three years of hard development, the conclusion was the introduction of the T26E3 “General Pershing” into battle during the closing months of European War. After its baptism of fire, the Pershing was standardized as the M26 in late March 1945.
Merkava is a main battle tank developed by the Israel Defense Forces. The tank began development in 1973 and entered active service in 1978. Four main versions of the tank have been deployed. It was first used extensively in the 1982 Lebanon War. The "Merkava" name was derived from the IDF's initial development program name.
Challenger 2 Main Battle Tank is the current MBT of the British Army and represents the culmination of 80 years of tank design. Its development began in 1986. In 1987, the tank was presented to the Ministry of Defence in response to a requirement to replace the Chieftain MBT.
M1 "Abrams" main battle tank modernization M1A1 as new modification had a number greater abilities than the earlier. M1A1 differed firstly in greater firepower and increased defense. Since 1988 M1A1 modification was produced with built-in precipitant uranium armor.
