Combating crises since 1974.
A modified Boeing 747-200, the E-4B serves with the U.S.A.F. as an Airborne Command Post during times of war and major natural disasters. It is designed to provide continuous Command and Control for the U.S. Government, should land-based communications systems fail. Only four exist, but U.S.A.F. procedures ensure that one is always "combat-ready." Kit features structured surfaces, a one-piece fuselage, a detailed undercarriage, a radome, a fuselage-mounted antenna and sensor array, a choice of "open" or "closed" wheel wells, a display stand and authentic U.S. Air Force decal markings.
